Sir/Ma'am,

I respectfully request to return to active duty with the Amarr Navy. Specifically with the Epitoth Guard.

After a 3.5 year pilgrimage across the stars, I have decided to return to the homeland, to once again take up arms for the Emperess and join her reclamation.

I have been all the way to the furthest reaches of known New Eden, and have come to realize that the Empire, now more than ever, must reclaim glory that our ancestors once held, and to reach out and educate the lesser races, lest they destroy themselves.

All those who oppose enlightnment will be cleansed with the purifying light of our lasers.

As the Prophet Kuria once said; "I will not hesitate when the test of Faith finds me, for only the strongest conviction will open the gates of paradise. My Faith in you is absolute; my sword is Yours, My God, and Your will guides me now and for all eternity.'

Such is my faith in my God, and my bretheren.

I am going planetside tomorrow at 0800 hours for back surgery. (the procedure is called a "TLIF" if you wish to look it up) I'll be in the hospital for 3 days, then bed rest for the better part of a month, and on convolescent leave for 30 days. I should be able to get back on the comms after 2 weeks however, and look foward to seeing the status of my application changed to accepted.

Pray for me Brothers and Sisters, I'll be in God's hands.

How has this gone Marius?

As someone who has had back surgery in the past, I know it takes a while to get over the op.

But I can only say that after the swelling had gone and I have completed all the cre stability exercises, it fixed the agony I had been in before the op.
